Their rep took time to explain the process and the benefits of these newer, Amish-made windows before and after installation. It took a little more than 2 weeks for the windows to be built and shipped. The installers were considerate of the interior floors and protected their feet upon entry. They cleaned as they went which is a massive plus. Afterwards, they asked if I wanted the warranty paperwork, and I did. There were only 2 issues with one window and Brian (the owner) fixed the first issue within a day (there was a small tear in the screen, probably from shipping) and ordered the other part (one of the sliding locks was missing a small internal piece and didn’t fully lock). All in all, it was a positive experience, the pricing was right, and I do plan to call on them again.

Only a few of the crew was able to communicate with me. One of the workers broke my wife’s 50 year old pottery and did not tell us. When I found it some of the pieces were missing. The pieces were swept up and put in the dumpster. We found many screws throughout the yard as well as in the driveway. One screws shot out of the lawnmower and flew across the street. The mounting bracket off the back of the security light was missing/broken. Their resolution was to drill four holes in the housing unit and mount to the side of the house.
On the good side; the outside of the house is beautiful. It was 3 1/2 days

We had our old deck removed and replaced with a new composite deck. Two new windows were added to our great room in addition to replacing an existing window in the great room.
The house looks so much better from the street with the replacement of our front entry too. The new gutters and leaf guards look great and are much more functional than the gutters they replaced.

After being scammed out of $29,000 by a local contractor who left our home in worse shape than before—with half the house in house wrap, four leaking windows, and the rest untouched—we were heartbroken and skeptical of hiring anyone new. Though we pursued legal action, the case was ultimately dropped, and we only recovered $9,000.
Then we found Brian, owner of KC Custom Siding & Windows. From our first interaction, Brian was honest, attentive, and genuinely cared about helping us. He came to our home, took the time to listen to what we wanted, documented everything, and provided a detailed, fair bid. His professionalism instantly stood out.
Brian’s crew removed all the shoddy work done by the previous contractor: they tore off multiple layers of old siding, removed and properly reinstalled four windows, replaced insulation and sheeting, and installed new house wrap, siding, fascia, and soffit. The entire job was completed in just 2.5 days—from Thursday to Saturday afternoon—with incredible speed and attention to detail.
